LeaseConfirm™ provides a platform for landlords, property managers, and brokerages to market properties. This policy sets out the conditions for marketing exclusive listings on LeaseConfirm™ in compliance with the CREA REALTOR® Cooperation Policy and applicable real estate regulations.
An Exclusive Listing is an agreement where a landlord or property owner gives one brokerage or agent the sole right to market their property.
Exclusive listings are typically marketed privately, but if you choose to market them publicly—including on LeaseConfirm™, social media, flyers, or other public platforms—the conditions in Section 3 apply.
3.1 MLS® Posting Requirement
If an exclusive listing is publicly marketed, the listing must be posted on a Multiple Listing Service (MLS®) System within three (3) calendar days of the first public marketing activity. This is a CREA-mandated rule.
